Hands-on learning was on the menu in first grade today! Mrs. Karam’s class partnered with the Cornell Cooperative Extension to explore the dairy industry and discover the process behind making butter. To bring the lesson to life, students worked together as a class to churn fresh butter from scratch before enjoying a tasty snack on crackers. A big thank-you to Cornell Cooperative Extension for helping our young learners connect agriculture to their everyday lives!
