CTE staff delivered eighth-grade presentations at Donovan and J.F.K. middle schools to introduce students to the wide range of career and technical education opportunities available at Proctor High School and through OHM BOCES. The presentations highlighted the ninth-grade CTE exploratory course and outlined the CTE application process. Emphasis was placed on the development of district-wide Power Skills for Success, including communication, teamwork and problem-solving, as essential components of all CTE programs. Students also viewed a promotional video showcasing CTE experiences and career outcomes, helping them understand how CTE can support their academic and career goals.
