The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at Proctor brings exploratory learning to the RED Program. Through hands-on activities and rotating stations, students in grades 4-6 get to explore different career pathways and discover what they might want to do when they grow up. Olivia Guarno, Avery Erwin-McGuire and Jessica Kokoszki visited Jones Elementary on Jan. 6 and will continue visiting two elementary schools each month. Students have the opportunity to build something, solve a problem or complete a challenge that shows them what professionals in different fields actually do. By introducing CTE pathways early, students can start thinking about their futures and the many career options available to them. It's a fun way to learn that there are many different paths to success after high school.
